Please be our guest and come see what we have to offer your students. All third grade local history classes should plan to visit the museum. In addition, we can tailor presentations for an age group.
Students can learn the history of the area from the first inhabitants who named this place, through the mission period, the early Yankees including Spreckels the “sugar king”, the coming of the railroad, Asian immigration, the lumber period, apples, flight pioneer John Montogomery, resort building in the 20’s and 30’s, Blue Angels founder Butch Voris, the founding of Cabrillo College, to the Loma Prieta Earthquake and more. The chronological displays are accompanied by a world timeline of significant events.
Please call the Museum to inquire about arranging a private tour or to book your field trip. (831) 688-1467
